Anyone who is trying to build up a small band in to a huge band spends much of their day trying to figure out how to make every little thing turn in to something bigger. Many writers will take this time to do interviews or show reviews and even if they don’t, most writers are influential people, the type who will spread the word about your show and music. Be good to those who are kind enough to spread the word about your music and you will make your promotions way easier.
