Ohhh Ahhhh! Now that is a good looking Facebook page! RootMusic is a site that offers a great looking Facebook App with a great sounding player, a very clean layout and show listings. If you are looking to get a nice clean Facebook layout and do away with some of the lamer options for putting music on Facebook this App could be a a great idea for you. (via GetFresh)

    I find the language here scary in their contract. Concerning anyone’s music, it’s a blanket license for the company to pretty much do anything they want with your content including copyrighted material until the end of time with the inability to revoke this license(!), especially if they decided to sell off the company to someone who would exploit this material. At least if it was our choice to opt out at any moment and then material would be no longer available that might be viable.
    Not cool, very scary, will advise any band I know NOT to use this service!

    Hey my name is J, I am the CEO and founder of RootMusic. You are absolutely correct. I have talked to my legal team and the terms of agreement have been changed. For example you are now able to revoke the license etc. I started this company because I have seen to many awesome musicians that were taken advantage of.
