Pro Tools Tip Of The Day: Use VST Plug-Ins To Expand Your Repitoire

Camel Phat.jpg

FxPansion make a truly awesome VST to RTAS wrapper? What does this mean? It means you can use all of your favorite VST Plug-ins in Pro Tools. We all know Pro Tools can get a little generic since everyone has the same Plug-ins; this is one way to open up your options and start giving your own sound to your projects. There is a world of Plug-ins available for free on VST. This Plug-In has made my mixes so much more fun and creative, even with just the addition of Camel Phat to my palette. For just $99, this is an essential buy, since you will be opened up to a priceless world of Plug-ins.

my experience this wrapper does not work properly- so better rewire or export or import methode – protools can work with reaper or frutty loop via re wire

sometimes a certain plug does not wrap well and can cause a freeze up/error, so try to wrap one at a time to test? haven’t tested this wrapper with PT8, I run 7.
