Pandora Will Allow Artists To Upload Their Music Into The System!

Today, I spoke with Pandora‘s Michele Husak who sent me the link to their FAQ which unveiled something that has gone under the music world radar. In the next few weeks Pandora will be enabling a system that will allow artists to upload their own songs to the site. This is exciting news for anyone who wants to get their music on this amazing site. Below is a quote from the FAQ:
Q: How do I submit my music (or my band’s music) to be considered for inclusion in the Music Genome?

Thanks for thinking of Pandora!

Due to an increased volume of independent submissions, we are revising our submissions process. We are no longer accepting CDs for consideration of independent submissions.

Instead, we are transitioning to an online music submissions system with an easy-to-use web interface. We expect the new process will be faster, easier and much more transparent for submitting musicians, with a definite outcome for each submission.

Please keep checking back, as this same FAQ entry ( http://blog.pandora.com/faq/#31 ) will be updated when the new submissions process is live, hopefully in just a few weeks.

Thanks again for your interest in Pandora, and please do keep working on your musical projects in the meantime!
