Official.FM Is A Fantastic Streaming Player (And More) For Your Music

I often find myself talking to musicians about what features they would like to see web services employ. One of the common sentences I hear is “I wish SoundCloud did ___”, my usual answer to these inquiries are “Oh, Official.FM does that.” Since they changed their name from The Fairtilizer to Official.FM we haven’t caught up on some of the cool new things they have updated their service with so we figured we would give a quick rundown:

• Download of Playlists: Many musicians and DJs make playlists of a sequence of songs, sometimes for blogs to use as features, they now allow the ability to make these playlists downloadable by fans in a .zip file.
• Embeddable Tour Widgets: One of the coolest features that I am surprised more people don’t use (that we covered earlier) is the embeddable tour widget. These widgets can be embedded on websites and blogs and allow you to control links to buy tickets and may other cool features.
• Desktop App For Managing Your Account: Manage and track your activity going on.
