Musformation Presents: What The World Is Really Listening To!

We have previously expressed our opinion, now that many people no longer buy records, it is time to part the Billboard Charts (aka Soundscan) to rest. So where do we go from here? It is time to start looking at what people are listening to online. We have also told you about the Wiki Chart, a site that measures what people are listening to across the majority of the streaming audio sites on the net. We will now be publishing the Top 10 of the Wiki Chart’s Rock and Pop Chart on a weekly basis, in an effort to show you all what music is really being consumed by the masses. Below you have the results of the two charts as of 5/22/09:

    Hey guys, thanks for the post and checking us out. We still have lots of work ahead of us. on a spectrum of 0-100, 100 being the ultimate vision of where we want to take The Wiki Chart, we’re at about a 28, so stick with us as we evolve.
