In our new series Making The Chorus Bigger we will examine numerous
ways to get your chorus to get to the size you want it to be. We will
examine the many tricks that can be utilized to make this happen.
Previously we have told you how to make the chorus bigger by using open chords and quadrupling the guitar tracks. Let’s say you don’t want to change the main guitar tracks to a more open voicing and you want to keep the chords with the normal fret voicing. This doesn’t mean when you triple and quadruple the guitars you can’t do those tracks with open chords. This can often give you a larger and more rich sounding track and I personally find it very pleasing to the ear.
