Make your own reverb for Logic Space Designer

Most of the real reverb junkies out there are familiar with the great sounds you can achieve using Convolution Reverb, but many people overlook the one that comes built-in with the plugin pack for Logic.  After using some third-party reverbs, I took a friend’s advice and dove deeply into Logic’s Space Designer plugin, which I initially assumed was garbage, but was thoroughly impressed.  Not only are there many types of subtle reverbs/spaces to choose from, the quality is very impressive.  Even more interesting is that Logic’s Space Designer makes it easy for you to create your own files for the program.  Known as IR’s (impulse responses), Sound On Sound explains the easy way to record your own, allowing the uber dorks to get their most pristine reverb on.  Perhaps it’s time to finally sell that old plate sitting around your studio?
