Start The Song With An Instrumental Of The Chorus


Yesterday we talked about making sure the hook in your song comes in fast enough that your listener stays interested. Today, we have another alternative if you don’t think your song structure can budge. Take the melody of the chorus and play it on another instrument to give the listener a hint of what is to come. This helps the chorus still come on with a bigger bang rather then having the payoff come right away, while still driving home your great melody. Some great examples of this are:
