Your Virtual Band Manager: Bandize.com

Bandize.pngEvery band without a manager seems to always be looking for one. They think a manager is the answer to all of their problems when in reality, an inexperienced manager just brings you more problems. Well it looks like the robots just obsoleted all of the hack managers in the industry. Yesterday, I received word of what could be an awesome site for all of you slacker, unorganized musician types. There is a site called Bandize.com that looks to be the promise of your virtual band manager. It seems to have the ability to be your virtual kick in the ass for all of the things a modern band needs to accomplish. Scrolling around the tour of the site, I think this is going to be an amazing site to organize the chaos in bands.  If you are interested in the details here is what is catching my eye:

  • Tour Management including mapping, show contacts, financial tracking, etc.
  • Easy to use accounting facilities
  • Social network syncing for many of the popular sites(Myspace, Facebook, Last.FM)
  • Merch Management
  • Contacts list
  • Pivitol Tracker so everyone knows what needs to get done
  • Keep track of reviews, logos, designs, art etc.

Seems pretty exciting! The site is still in Beta, but you can sign up to be in line for an invite on their main page. The cost is a minor $10 per month per band. Seems well worth it to me! If anyone is using this site, please leave us comments of how you are liking it!
