If you are spending your nights following people and making friends on Twitter you are probably thinking what we are. Does anyone even realize who I am? Did they even care to read my bio? Probably not, but you can improve their chances of them knowing what is special about your band by sending them a direct message after they follow you. TweetLater will allow you to not only do this but follow back anyone who follows you. This will increase your chances of actually getting someone to look at your Twitter feed instead of filing it under the ignore bin on their Twitter App and maybe if you write a compelling enough message they may check out your band. After the jump we will teach you how to navigate their oddly designed site.
Next, we want to scroll down and start filling in the boxes below. We would suggest you enable following everyone who follows you(when you are first starting out if you are doing a lot of Twitter following this may be a bad idea later). Then we suggest selecting to do a direct message to anyone who follows you. The next thing we need to do is type what you want this message to say. We suggest telling your followers what is special about your band. Perhaps they decided to follow you even though they have no idea who you are. Now is your chance to tell them why they should actually pay attention to your tweets or listen to your band. Give it your best shot and then click save. You are all set to go! In about 24 hours after you have gotten some new followers check the sent box of your direct messages on Twitter to make sure everything is working right. Enjoy!
