said, a reader asks, “Does making a session copy In Pro Tools degrade the quality of audio?

We are happy to report that it does not degrade the audio what so ever. It is simply just reproducing 0′s and 1′s and no actual transfer or conversion occurs (unless you are doing sample rate conversion). This goes for any audio software not just Pro Tools even on the cheapest of DAWS this is not a problem. Sleep well!
