Facebook Ups Their Game Adds Post Insights And Ability To Get Fan’s Emails

For a long time we have all been frustrated with the fact that marketing your music through Facebook has never lived up to it’s potential. Today, they took some leaps and bounds into finally making it get closer to being an amazing tool.

The first step they have made is by adding post insights for Facebook pages accounts. This means you can finally tell how effective each of your updates are. This means you can start to understand whether you are really being effective updating every time your band has a drink together. It will now show Feedback and how many impressions each update has received, which by my guesstimate will also show how many people are hiding you that are actually your friend. In their offical blog, Facebook has announced that developers may now start requesting users emails for direct contact. This means that that very soon we can see some musician services develop tools to collect fans email addresses and maintain better direct relationships with fans. Start moving developers!
