Often times bands will come into my studio and they will tease one kid in the band mercilessly to the point you want to donate to his psychiatric fund. The worst part about it is usually he is the kid who can't play his instrument at all and is going to drive you crazy the whole time. In a moment of rage you are going to want to call him a dumb ass or whatever other name the band calls him and sometimes it will be funny. But other times you will have angered the whole band. There is a common occourance when talking to friends as well. A friend can complain about their significant other all night and day and call them a "bitch" or an "asshole" but if you do this you get a very crossed look. That is that persons "bitch" or "asshole" not yours and it is not your right to call them such. This can happen in the studio and instantly make a whole band turn against you. As much as it can be fun in the studio to join in on the name calling, put yourself above it and find another way to channel your frustration.
