Airborne- Does It Really Help?????

Airborne.jpgAs we all know your health is one of the biggest factors in how good many singers will be able to perform. Many musicians are big fans of a product by the name of Airborne, to boost their immune system. However they aren't aware of some small facts that can really help your health and save you some hard earned cash.

So you may be thinking why am I so down on Airborne, it has Vitmamin C and Zinc and that should keep me healthy right???? Well yes, but as a class action lawsuit proved, it is good for you but you can definitely be doing better. Being someone who takes my health seriously I have found two products to be much more successful.
Emergen-C-Raspberry-36-Packet_5F4A56A4-1.jpg
I really like Emergen-C as a preventitive maintienence type of health booster. If you are on tour odds are your health is being compromised by eating fast food, sleeping poorly in nasty places, being stuffed in recycled air for hours, and the excesses of partying. Emergen-C is a great way to help make up for these things by giving your body a little extra help when you are trashing it constantly. A huge bonus of Emergen-C is you are supposed to drink it with water. Water for singers and your body in general is like oil for a car. YOU NEED TO BE DRINKING LOTS WATER TO BE REALLY HEALTHY. Now the importance of water is one for another blog, but the reason we are discussing it here is you use it with Emergen-C. Add the powder to your water and it tastes all flavory like that Soda or Snapple stuff you all love so much! Drinking 3 Liters of water a day with Emergen-C in it will gives you tons of Vitamin-C(same amount per packet as Airborne), Zinc and B-Vitamins. This is also a much more financially viable option compared to Airborne. Now when you are actually sick this stuff is great to keep taking, but you need to call in some reinforcements:
Wellness.jpg
Wellness Formula is like a sickness killer, it is a blend of organic ingredients that gets you better fast. Before I started taking this stuff I would get sick twice as much as I do now. I know now that whenever I feel terrible, I need to grab the bottle and take down a few capsules, just in case. You can also take this stuff when it is crucial that you are healthy; like right before you go into the studio to do vocals or before a big performance. The one downside with Wellness Formula is avery strong flavor and some people have trouble swallowing it and digesting it. Make no mistake if you can get it down it will do the job and make you less miserable very fast. Price-wise you pay a bit more then Airborne but from my experience you get many more doses out of a bottle then your would for an equally priced dose of Airborne.

Does anyone else have any other health secrets in pill/capsule form?
